On October 13th, 2023 Jiangsu-Hong Kong Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange Conference was successfully held in Hong Kong. The theme of the event is "Jiangsu and Hong Kong work together to create a better future", organized by the People's Government of Jiangsu Province, Hong Kong Invest Hong Kong, Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province, the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, and supported by the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, the Hong Kong Chinese Importers' & Exporters' Association, and the Federation of Hong Kong Jiangsu Associations.

Mr. Fang Wei, Vice Governor of Jiangsu Provincial Government presided over the meeting, Mr. Cheuk Wing-hing, Deputy Secretary for Home Affairs of the Hong Kong SAR delivered a speech, Mr. Xin Changxing, Secretary of Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Jiangsu Province, made a keynote speech, representatives of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government of the People's Republic of China in Hong Kong and Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, main leaders of Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, relevant departments of Jiangsu Provincial Government, representatives of the relevant cities and key enterprises of Jiangsu Province, representatives of Hong Kong's political circle, industrial and commercial circles and representatives of the regional headquarters of multinational corporations in Europe and America. Representatives of Hong Kong political circles, industrial and commercial circles, European and American multinational corporations' regional headquarters in Hong Kong, and representatives of business associations attended the meeting to discuss the win-win economic, trade and investment cooperation between Suzhou and Hong Kong in key industries and fields.

Mr. Tam Wing Tim, Vice President of CM Energy, was invited to attend the meeting and participate in the signing ceremony of the cooperative projects. On the scene of the event, CM Energy and Haimen Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee signed an agreement on the development of industrial projects, both sides will seize the strategic opportunity of the country to build "the largest and most complete industrial chain of the Yangtze River Delta ship and offshore engineering equipment integrated industrial cluster", give full play to the advantages of their respective fields, and promote the building of a high-quality development demonstration zone for ship and offshore equipment, and take the lead in building a ship and offshore equipment demonstration zone, take the lead in building a world-class shipbuilding and offshore engineering advanced manufacturing cluster, innovate a new mode of cooperation between the government and enterprises, and realize mutual benefits and win-win cooperation.
