After the manufacturing center is put into use, the first batch of three sails WAPS will soon enter the production and assembly process and will be delivered to the shipowners on schedule.

The CM Energy Wind-Powered Assisted Propulsion System Manufacturing Center, located in Haimen District, is adjacent to the Yangtze River, boasting a unique geographical location and transportation advantages. It gathers various production factors, laying the foundation for the high-quality development of the ship and marine industry. The center covers an area of 18,000 square meters, equipped with two MEH80 (80/20+40) gantry cranes and one 16-ton gantry crane. The rectangular assembly area matches the hoisting capacity of the sail WAPS products to maximize the assembly and debugging requirements of large sail WAPS products. At the same time, the manufacturing center is close to the 3,000-ton class sea-going wharf of the Changjiang Estuary Development Group, providing strong support for the transportation and delivery of sails WAPS and other large ship and marine equipment.

The manufacturing center, which has been launched, will focus on the production and delivery of CM TSC Offshore Tech WindWings three-wing rigid sails WAPS. WindWings sails WAPS can automatically adjust the angle and curvature according to wind speed and direction, maximizing their aerodynamic performance, effectively improving the fuel efficiency of ships and reducing carbon emissions. The energy-saving and emission reduction effects are at the leading level among similar products. Currently, the manufacturing center has the capacity to manufacture, assemble, and ship 36 sets of sails WAPS per year, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and high-performance sail products to customers on schedule, contributing to the achievement of net-zero emission goals.
