On March 11, CM Energy (0206.HK) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, CM Green Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. ("CM Green Tech"), and its affiliated company, CM Xiageng Hydrogen Energy Technology (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. ("Huaxia Hydrogen"), successfully held a signing ceremony in Shenzhen with UK-based Logan Energy Limited ("Logan Energy") to formalize a strategic collaboration. The parties will leverage their respective strengths in technology, manufacturing, and market expertise to jointly develop and commercialize alkaline electrolyzer systems tailored for green hydrogen applications in the UK and European markets, delivering cutting-edge hydrogen solutions.
At the ceremony, Wang Fudong, Assistant President of CM Energy, and Zhang Yuxuan, Asia President of Logan Energy, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on behalf of their organizations, witnessed by senior executives from all parties. Under the MoU, CM Green Tech, Huaxia Hydrogen, and Logan Energy will pool R&D resources, optimize product design, and collaborate to commercialize alkaline hydrogen production systems compliant with CE and UKCA certification standards. This initiative aims to expand the application of CM’s electrolyzer systems in the UK and Europe while jointly exploring financing opportunities to support project implementation and long-term market strategies.
Building on this partnership, the three parties will intensify R&D investments in hydrogen energy to accelerate technological innovation. The collaboration is expected to unlock new growth opportunities for all stakeholders and contribute significantly to the global hydrogen industry’s sustainable development and the transition to a green, low-carbon future.
